In the breast surgery operation process, first of all, the silicone prosthesis that is suitable for you is selected. There are 4 separate incision areas used to place these prostheses in the area. These incision areas; nipple circumference, armpit, navel and under the breast.
- A very small incision is made in the brown area around the breast, called the areola, around the nipple. While creating this incision, care is taken not to damage the milk ducts.
- Milk ducts and mammary gland are not affected by this incision in the under-breast area. The procedure is performed with a small incision to be applied to the lower layer of the breast.
- When the armpit and belly area is preferred for the procedure, no incision is made around the breast. In the operation to be performed under the armpit, a small incision is made in the area and the prosthesis to be used is placed from there. The resulting scars appear in the form of very mild redness shortly after the operation.
Since the procedure is usually performed under local anesthesia, anesthesia-related complications are rare. The patient must rest for 4 days after leaving the hospital.
