WHAT IS GYNECOMASTIA?
Gynecomastia is the condition in which the tissues in the breast area become too large and a feminine breast appearance appears due to hormonal conditions, genetic disorders, various diseases, excessive alcohol consumption, genetic disorders, hormonal conditions, various diseases, excessive alcohol consumption, and drug use in men. Gynecomastia can cause social problems such as dressing style problems, lack of self-confidence, and posture disorder in men.
This problem should be considered separately from the physiological gynecomastia observed in men during adolescence. When gynecomastia is suspected, the condition causing it should be investigated first, and the surgical process should be initiated appropriately after it is detected.
WHAT ARE THE STAGES OF GYNECOMASTIA?
There are three different stages in gynecomastia.
- In the first phase, limited growth occurs.
- In the second stage, the breasts are larger, but there is no sagging.
- In the third stage, sagging occurs as a result of the growth of the breast.
Gynecomastia does not go away by using drugs or doing sports, it can only be solved with a few surgical and medical methods. According to the stage of gynecomastia, an appropriate treatment method is determined. For the first stage, liposuction, laser lipolysis method or biolipolysis injection is sufficient. For more advanced gynecomastia, the excess tissue should be surgically removed to eliminate sagging.
