Hair loss may also occur in women due to genetic factors (Family hair loss problem), hormonal changes (menopause, pregnancy, etc.), some diseases, stress and environmental factors, and nutritional problems.
In the daily life, almost everyone loses their hair every day. A certain number of that (between 50-100) is quite normal. Because our hair can be renewed during certain growth phases or seasonal transitions. However, when this number rises above a certain rate and starts to cause visible aesthetic problems, it will mean that alarm bells are ringing for the person.
Hair transplantation operation in women is performed with the method we call the FUE method in hair transplantation. However, if the planting area is small, the number of follicules needed is low, and if only a small area is to be treated, cleaning only that area will be sufficient.
FUE method is the most advanced hair transplantation method together with DHI. The most obvious difference is that in the FUE technique, channel must be opened. Therefore, during FUE hair transplantation, more than one staff works at the same time to speed up the process.
In this technique, hair follicles from the donor area are taken by means of a micromotor without damaging the hair follicle. These follicules, which come out of their places, are then collected by the operator. To prepare the grafts for planting, another specialist first takes the collected hair follicles and strings them on a surgical gauze strip. Hair follicles cannot survive for long outside our body. Therefore, after the grafts are cleaned, they are placed in a special serum solution. The serum protects the hair follicles from environmental effects, especially dehydration (drying). Hair follicles can stay outside the body for about 8-10 hours in this serum solution.
